Eldrena "Blue Corn" Douma
Native American Storyteller * Writer * Author * Workshop Presenter
My beginnings and inspiration
I have been telling stories, attending storytelling festivals and conferences since 1992. My education has come from Master Storytellers and Writers from across the United States.

I was a public school teacher prior to my storytelling profession.
My formal education includes a Bachelor and Master Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Eastern New Mexico University.

My greatest teachers in my past have been all my relatives but two stand out from my childhood. My paternal grandmother and father, I did not realize that they were mentoring me for the future. I hear their voices in many of the stories I have created.

To name a few of my appearances...very few.
